Lifestyle imagery for Duvalay's new collections

Duvalay continue to go from strength-to-strength, having launched their first mattress collection - The Hilary Devey Collection -  at the NBF Bed Show two years ago. This year, will see the company launch the Rosalia Collection; an affordable, mid-market collection that sits alongside the Devey premium mattresses. 

The brief

To support the continued success of the Hilary Devey Collection and launch of the Rosalia Collection, Duvalay required a new suit of imagery in an editorial style, as well as inspirational product shots to support retailer sales.

Juno was heavily involved in the creative process, working with the team and stylist to develop looks for each collection that would suit a range of publications. The Juno team were also on hand during the shooting process to art direct.

The results

The main focus was to ensure that the images reflected the ethos of each collection, with a hero shot that would be used for PR.

The resulting shots for the Hilary Devey Collection encompass the glamorous, luxurious and feminine feel that is at the heart of the brand, while the Rosalia shot is fresh, contemporary and aimed at a younger audience.

Both shots will now be used across PR activities as we head into the winter months when bed and mattress features become a focal point of magazines.

Founded by husband and wife team, Alan and Liz Colleran, Duvalay featured on the BBC’s Dragon Den’s in 2011, where Entrepreneur Hilary Devey took the decision to purchase 26% of the business. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength, increasing turnover by 200% and now distribute worldwide the Duvalay products.
