“We need support to drive consumer awareness of the Hilary Devey Collection, as well increase retailer awareness and interest in the collection ahead of the Bed Show. Ideally, we would like to bring another 10 retailers on board during and post-show.”
Juno was hired for a four month campaign leading up to The Bed Show 2016. The Hilary Devey Collection had launched at the same show the year before but needed some further support to help bring new retailers on board as well as increase stocked items with current retail customers.
Delivery and results
With time short due to lead times of consumer magazines, Juno concentrated on the media which would deliver results quickly and effectively. The PR team were able to secure a review in The Independent’s mattress round up where the Diamond mattress was voted as the number one mid-price mattress. This article remains at the top of google when search for best mattresses.
Further reviews were also secured in The Metro alongside an interview with Hilary Devey. A number of competitions were placed in consumer titles, along with a number of product mentions within bed features.
Trade PR was also implemented ahead of the Bed Show in the main three titles, with a special, three-part series in the main title – Cabinet Maker – which covered the new launches, Duvalay’s story so far, as well a number of new features being added to the collection.
Results were instantly felt by Duvalay. Consumers were being driven into store having read the Independent review, with retailers looking to take further mattresses within the range. PR support also helped to achieve 16 sign ups over the course of the show as retailers were driven onto stand, having read about the new additions.
Juno has now been retained as Duvalay’s PR agency for on-going PR support.
